Gozo is 12 km by 7 km island. It is about one third the size of Malta and is greener, quieter and much less developed. It is an unspoilt area, with picturesque fishing villages, rolling green hills, valleys and sandy beaches. In Gozo you will find all this is added to the warm hospitality of the Gozitan people. The food on the island is amazing and well priced the choice from Local dishes to imported steak. The choice of accommodation is good with private villas/farmhouses for families (villa/farmhouse available with disabled access) or apartments or hotels for smaller groups or couples. Hire car packages are available to make getting around quick and easy for a large group.
Being in Gozo means your near to most of the diving. Lots of the sites are accessible from the shore including the Blue Hole, similar to the dive site in Dahab just less renowned. A great culture matched with nice diving a recommened destination. |
